All images are taken with an iPhone or tablet between December 26 and December 31, thus the title “Christmas Passed” and the year they were taken. The posters represent the state in which these images were collected.
These images, for me, represent the commercialization of Christmas, where in, for some it is a normal occurrence to decorate their house with displays of garish pop culture statuary that is simplistic and highly stylized. They are temporary and empty expressions of our feelings of faith and family. Short lived, they eventually become virtually two dimensional, often overlooked and usually forgotten until the next year when once again they are pumped up with empty feelings of faith and brotherhood.

They are… Odd 21st century cultural displays I find very amusing.
