Landscapes

The beauty and diversity of our planet has fascinated and inspired people since someone drew on a cave wall.  Those early drawings are thought to be a record of the animals those cave dwellers saw in their environment.  Since then, in every culture that has developed (and collapsed) artists have been recording what they see as their environment. Landscape as a subject is one of the oldest themes in the history of art.  Almost every artist at one time in their creative life produces a landscape, and almost always, more than one.
